ALLEGED ATTACKERS:
Muslim extremists. Some of the names taking credit for various defacements: the Ashiyane Defacers Digital Security Team; Moroccan hackers Hacker1, Team-Evil, Ghost, Yanis, WizardZ, and DarkbiteX; Sys7ech; marcosadp; Patriotic Hackers; arian hacker; Mr. Dark Shark!!; the al-Ghorabaa site, which bragged about its coordinated 24-hour attack

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Muslim extremists, angry over the publication of cartoons depicting caricatures of Muhammad spread anti-Danish sentiment via defacements as part of a multi-fronted backlast. The Ashiyane Defacers Digital Security Team, responsible for at least a couple of the hacks, sent a message to Zone-H to make sure they got credit for their actions.
