EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Part of an ongoing culture war between Indonesia and Malaysia in which the former accuses the latter of hijacking bits of the latter's culture without giving credit. Sites were defaced on Malaysia's independence day with text accusing them of being uncreative and offensive. Sites were restored shortly after being defaced.
