EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Many Shiite sites have been hacked and defaced by a group of Sunni hackers. Zone-H has a list. Most of them display scrolling text announcing their cyberwar against Shiite sites and sometimes a little bit of information specific to a particular site. Also various religious YouTube videos are embedded. ***ATTACKS STARTED IN MARCH 2007, 2009-12 IS JUST THE MOST RECENT
